The NAMRC/MSEC/ICM&P Conference in Los Angeles, California will begin on Sunday, June 4, 2017 with registration open each day (Sunday – Thursday).
Full conference registration fees include admission to sessions, luncheons, receptions, conference breaks, and conference materials.

- NSF Writing Workshop Registration Fee – $25
Effective proposal writing is important for both the National Science Foundation (NSF) and principal investigators. To aid researchers in communicating clear research objectives and improving proposal quality, an NSF proposal writing workshop will be hosted at the NAMRC/MSEC Conference 2017, on Sunday, June 4, from 12 pm to 6 pm. The workshop will include a working lunch (12 pm to 1 pm), presentations by NSF program managers, breakout sessions to discuss example research objectives, and a question/answer period. Interested researchers may register on the conference web site. There is a $25 fee to cover food costs. The number of attendees is limited to 70 on a first-come, first-served basis.

*Overview
A designated “presenter” of the technical paper, poster, or presentation only must be identified, and the designated “presenter” must pay the appropriate registration fee by the established deadline of April 6, 2017. If the presenter has not registered by the April 6, 2017 deadline:
- The paper, poster, or presentation will be removed from the Conference Website, will
not be listed in the printed program, and will not be scheduled at the conference. - The paper or poster will not be published in the Conference Proceedings.
Additional Publication Information
- The deadline for notification of papers or posters to be removed from publication will be firm: no extensions will be allowed.
- Papers, posters, or presentations that have been designated for removal from the Website will not be reinstated.
- Removed papers cannot be published at a later date or in the proceedings of another conference.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
Requests for refunds will be honored when received fourteen calendar days prior to the program. However, another person may be substituted at any time for this program. A $100 administrative fee will be deducted for cancellations. In the unlikely event that this program is cancelled or postponed due to insufficient enrollments or unforeseen circumstances, the university will fully refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other expenses, including cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations.
